Bought my helmet after this incident
rock is not as big but could have been
bad if it had been over a couple feet
instead of hitting the windshield

Some reason I was thinking that was the slab up on middle rock garden.
That’s exactly where it is. I got bound up in that same tree our last trip and nearly suffered the same fate

I believe everyone who has went up that has gotten a little tippy at some point. There has been a lot of good photo's and videos from that slab.

Good call.  Just up from Grapvine.  Those are some tough trails in that area of the park.

I’ve done the slabs a few times but last time I hugged that tree too much and about flopped it over into the slab
