Wish I could camp but can't. Sunday only if I can.
I've grown tired of this.

i have been on the coleman river trail several times.  i have done it all in 2wd.  sometimes i stick in in low range and not lock the hubs though cause my old cj7 rides rough as hell.  i would rather just slowly crawl over the stuff than bounce over it.  the first time i went on this trail, i went with 3 bone stock wranglers.  one YJ and two TJs.

If I read my google maps it appears to be straight up 985 to 365.  Is that how you guys would come out of the Buford area?

10-4 follow it all the way to clayton, then make a left at the intersection of 76w and follow it to lake burton.

Cool, another new place to wheel... it's been a couple months and I am getting deprived!

From the sounds of it, this place is pretty darn mild eh? Still should be lots of fun! I haven't found out where exactly on the map it is, but it seems to be in North GA? I'll probably get a hotel Sat night.

definitely will be easy..  Mostly forest service rds..  Scenery should be great..  Hopefully it will be on the cool side also...  the meeting point is between Hiawassee GA and Clayton GA..  on hwy 76....

After we do this ride and end up in Hiawassee we may try to ride up Bell MTn..  we did last year..  Shouldn't be a problem if the gate is not locked...  I will try to check it out first...

By the way,  ...  Does anyone like boiled peanuts?????

Another reminder::  I am going to be up in Hiawassee until probably Wednesday or Thursday on vacation..   Probably going to ride Beasley on Monday or Tuesday if anyone is interested... I can do it either day..  I try not to keep much of a schedule on vacation so I am good for either day..  You can post here or send me a PM...  the rest of the time I will probably explore some more forest rds,,,
