I will introduce them to you on the ride..  I boiled 20 pounds the other day...

reminds me of a time at the Pepsi 400 in Daytona..  Sat by a guy from Conn...  I offered him some and he took them and ate the hull and all..  never forget the look on his face when I told him you have to hull them first...   {hihi} {hihi} {hihi}

Those are not real boiled peanuts.  :P  They are dried and then boiled thru the year.  Dirty water.  Ugh.

These are FRESH dug peanuts, boiled, and frozen for keeping if they aren't fresh.  My girls love them.  Even the big that had b=never had a fresh one until she met me.  Hated them before.

O.k guys I made the abe gap trip today and got some pics for ya. I got side tracked in a side road and I didn't make it out til dark. So I didn't get a chance to go to hightower, but most of you have already been there anyways. I ran into a small problem on abe gap. There was a guy in there grading the road with a bull dozer that was contracted by the forest service. I talked with him and he said that he is hauling 152 loads of gravel in there this week. He said the road would be open next weekend. I guess I will go again on sat and make sure it's in o.k. shape. He had already scraped half of the road and it was muddy. Any comments on wether or not to go through this road is up to you all, let me know. thie only pics that aren't on abe gap are the ones with a long view of lake burton. My jeep is the black one and the green one is pilotjimmy. The pics of the creek isn't a creek, or it wasn't a couple of weeks ago. It is actually the road but from all the rain the creek has jumped out of the banks. Trout unlimited would love us riding up this wouldn't they? Click on the pics and blow em up.
