« on: October 26, 2009, 06:04:24 PM »
saw a few pets either posted or in person, so i thought i would make a thread for all the animal owners here.

guess i should add that the top one is a blood hound puppy (6 months 80lbs), middle is a basset hound, and the bottom is a mutt

I have two Wiemaraners, Jagermeister and Haus. I took them to River Rock for the first time this past weekend and they loved it.

I don't have any current pets, but my last pet was my Great Dane, Cargo. He was probably the coolest dog I've ever owned. As soon as I'm no longer in an apartment I plan on getting another one. Had to give him away when I moved out, because shortly after my parent's decided to downsize. *tear*

These are my trouble makers. Kodiak is the chocolate lab and Tyson is my pit. Need to get some better pictures of Tyson.

Do Work Aka Moon Man. What you lack in technique make up in throttle! Or a set of cheater tires.

Our cocker spaniel, Bogey. He's around 7 years old, we got him from my ex-brother-in-law when he decided to be a dumbass and become my ex-brother-in-law.  ::)

Bogey is the most energetic dog I've ever seen. No, really. He does not stop and that's the only reason I haven't brought him on a ride. About 4 months ago he was riding in the bed of the truck while we were pulling the horse trailer and he jumped out to chase a cat while we were running 30-45ish. I saw him land in the road, and we looked all over the place and couldn't find him. We came home and he was sitting on the front porch with a front leg danglin'. Vet says he'll never use the leg again, but the good news is he apparently fried the nerve so he can't feel it. Vet recommended we cut it off, but wouldn't hurt to keep it tied up as long as we change the wraps and clean him regularly. He can still outrun me with a front leg tied to his chest  :D  He's starting to get old so my mom made me promise I would make a harness and wheel for him in a year or two  ::) Pics of that when it's done! lol

Here's Bogey (Don't have any of the busted leg) and the only pic of the horses I have at school.

Thats weird Will, my parent's have a dog named Bogey with a bum front leg too. He was born with no knee and no toes on one leg.

Sunny used to jump out of the window of the Jeep if I was passing near the dog park and run there by herself. I think she hurt herself a few times doing it but never let on that she was actually hurt.

They're both named Bogey and play with the same handicap!  ;D Is your dad a bad golfer but insists that the dog be called "Birdie" when he's around?  :hlp
