Here is a round up of our day long excursion to Cataloochee Valley and checking out trails we came across.  FS Road 288 looks promising, near Waterville, but it was me, my 14 year old son and 3 month pregnant wife and no cell service, so we didn't go to deep in the wilderness.  Would like to go back sometime with more people, or at least some way to get help if something happens.
