Got 10 inches of snow in the yard. I have been out in the Duramax riding getting people out of trouble.

Like Jimmy said...we got jack here in Macon. Just a little ice. Of course typical of middle GA...everything shuts down. Roads cleared themselves before midday. Oh well, at least it was kind of pretty for a couple hours this morning!

On the way to work this morning at 3:45am I came across a pick up (2wheel drive)
in the middle of 400. I pulled up as the law was telling him he couldn't leave it there.
I offered to help since I just got my winch last week. Was pulling him across the ice when he floored it trying to get out......had to holler at him to stop and let the winch do the work...got the slack tightened up and pulled him back on the road. Well the SuperWinch did it's job, guess I'll have to give more detailed instructions to the next guy I have to pull out....

1st thing I tell them is stay still until I'm hooked,

and then rule # 1 is "don't hit me".

I've only pulled 1 2wd wheel pup up a hill.... backwards.  had no tow points, so we turned him around and grabbed the hitch, and pulled him a half mile backwards.

I've pulled alot of people with chains or tow straps but now with the winch I'll have to learn some new tricks I reckon ;D

Cute pups!!

We went out yesterday for a quick ride around and saw some four wheelers out.  Funniest was when we stopped at the grocery store and there were three of them at the store picking up beer - nothing else, just beer.  Got to have the necessities! {toast}

Got out and rode around looking at the sights yesterday.  Had a great time.  Lots of people out enjoying the snow.  Kids sledding and having fun.  Everybody driving decent.  No one to pull out of the ditch.  Here are a few pics.
