one.

I have a dana 61 for sale. With a spare set of axle shafts. Has drum brakes removed and the perches cut off. The only reason Im selling it is because Im gonna run a shevy 14bolt. I can include 4.56 gears and install kit. You will HAVE to have this spacers to run any gear set over stock. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-904A/

The only difference in this and a normal dana 60 is the 61 has an offset pinion, dana built so they could run low number gears for fuel economy. Several people run these. They are still common in the junk yard. So lets get down to money.

75.00 for axle and extra set of shafts.

180.00 for the 4.56 gears and the install kit. MARK has Dibs on the gear set up kit if I separate. Mark I paid 100.00 if you dont want it let me know.

Or I can install the gears in the axle  for 400.00

May trade just let me know what you got.

Ryan I will hook you up if the gears sale or if you want them let me know.

The Dana 61 housing and axle tubes are very beefy compared to a 60. If I remember correctly, it also has big bore spindles, so it can run 35 spline shafts without any machining or having to cut the spindles off and weld Chevy spindles on.

Forgot about that the housing is thicker than the normal 60. And it does have the big spindles.
