Ringgold & Rome got hammered. Cave springs hardly exists anymore. 2 dead in Trenton.

I think Dave DMB lives in Cave Springs....

Trees down around Hamilton Mill, no big deal.

Just seen Ringold on the list, Larry did you make it?
The storm hammered Ringold. I am less 10 miles away and escaped any thing major. We had wings getting up to 115 mph, Lots of trees down everywhere.

I got word that a tornado actually touched down a couple miles from the shop, in Sunny Side. We've got a limo in storage down there so I went to check out where the damage was... took some pics with the iPhone:

This is/was a fork lift sales and salvage place on 19/41 next to a used RV dealer:

And some general debris on the other side of the road:

And true to form, tornado damage brings the highest quality of citizens out to view the damage... There was a particular African-American walking around screaming "Yea, I survived that tornado!" as people are actually assessing and realizing damage to their homes and businesses. As Glen said, prayers go out to those families that have lost during this storm.

Just north of me got hammered hard. Tornado touched down about 3 miles from my house and debris has a lot of the roads up that way closed down. Just went to clear a tree off of my grandmother's house and the tornado missed by maybe a 1/2 mile, and apparently wiped out a subdivision not very far away.

North GA got hit real hard. I know suches got hammered by 2 nasty tornado cells. I may ride up this weekend to see if my camp spots are even still there. Never seen that many tornadoes in one night that I can remember. Scary stuff.
I've grown tired of this.

Lake Burton is torn to pieces. I got these pics before my camera died. This is about 2 miles from my house.

I worked on my Jeep until about 2 AM. Nothing major here. I knew there was a big storm coming though, but I wasn't near a tv and was just listening to music. I woke up this morning wondering what all the fuss was about. I'd have been pissed off if a tornado cam by and ripped my new beadlock wheels out of the garage. I would have had to go lasso that thing.

Best wishes to all that have suffered from this though.

Looks like a large tornado on the ground South of Hampton headed towards Mcdonough right now with 160 shear..

Showing lofted debris...

just north of you Mark.
HIT 2.4 MILES FROM MY HOUSE, on 1941 the rv dealer is gone and trail is horriable!!!
