Seth, I have had way to many scammer out for a car I have listed currently. It seems they are all from the west coast too {ehm} But, I would be caustious and would never send the jeep out until I have the $ deposited into my account free and clear. Do some googling on this guy, address etc. Like someone said, FB etc. You can never be too cautious. And paypal the entire amount...  {no}
I've grown tired of this.

Just have his bank do a wire transfer to your account.  Then it's there for sure.  Any other way sounds scam to me.

I dont know, but I dont think I would want to take paypal. They can come take the money back out at anytime if there is a dispute, and love to protect the BUYERS, not sellers.

Tell him to mail you an envelope full of cash  ;D

x3 on the paypal thing. On a much smaller scale, we just went thru some BS from selling Kelly's iPhone on there. Long story-short-> buyer makes BS claim about the phone, paypal freezes my account (takes away sale money) until it was resolved.

paypal wont take it if its already been withdrawn from the paypal account... they will do the investigation first then pull it from the bank account later if they find you at fault... ive never had a problem though in all the stuff i buy and sell... a couple disputes but always worked out the right way...

Whats wrong with western union.... you can have the money that day.... i have had people break up payments into 2 or 3 with no issues...just have to know that the fees will come out of what he is sending...or make a deal with him...half of the fees u will take out of the total price of the jeep...no worrying then
