1984 Chevrolet K10 - brand new RESTORED truck
« on: August 06, 2011, 10:34:48 PM »
Traded into this truck and had zero intentions of keeping it but the trade was right so it had to be done  {rtft}

It is an awesome truck. Completely redone 84 K10. The entire build has less than 600 miles on it. It is a 2011 model truck. Most of the rebuild was ordered through LMC including door panels, mirrors, bumpers, carpet, seat belts, door handles, key locks, window trim, window gaskets, etc......

Heres a copy from another for sale ad:

This is a BRAND NEW truck. Everything has been completely redone and every piece of trim, carpet, paint, suspension, tires, bumpers, brakes, axles, gears, lights, tanks, etc is brand new with less then 600 miles on everything.

It has a 5.7L completely rebuilt with a comp 288 HR camshaft, ported and polished vortec heads, holley 750 carb, performer RPM intake, new radiator, new headers, all new A/C sytem

rebuilt 3 speed with granny low, new clutch, new pressure plate and throw out bearing.

rebuilt transfer case

New 4.10 gears in rebuilt axles

brand new 37" iroks

The paint is so new it just got its first coat of wax yesterday (7/31/11)

BRAND NEW INTERIOR FROM DASH, BEZEL, CARPET, TRIM, WHEEL, SEATS, DASH TRIM, DOOR PANELS

2 10" Clarions behind the seat with pioneer headunit

Bed liner

dual gas tank with brand new switches in both and pumps

Truck has 55000 original miles on the body, but has 600 on the entire build. Everything is still getting broken in. The 4.10s with the 3 speed is VERY functional on the highway. It has no problem doing 80 on the interstate and does great in town.

It is registered as a NON-TITLE truck. If your state requires a title for registration you will not be able to register it. In states such as GA, AL, etc. there will not be any issues registering the truck in your state. Just check DMV laws.

Call me if interested 404-583-2889

$13900

I will get interior pictures up tomorrow

Thanks

Love the nostalgia of doing these to older units.
The only downside I have ever had is insuring them.
The value has to be in the heart of the owner so getting enough insurance to cover a possible mishap has to be a bit pricey I would think.
No matter what it looks great!... {toast}

Thanks for all the compliments.

The price may seem high but from what others have said/looked at it, its pretty close to what I expect out of a motivated "in the market" buyer. Has over to 22k in resto stuff plus $6k for a the truck stock. Going to take it to Pigeon Forge and park it on the side of the street with a for sale sign if I still have it this fall.

Pictures honestly do absolutely nothing to justify the beauty of the truck.

If anyone on here is interested I can do a GATR deal  {rtft}

Took a few quick interior and engine pictures. Didn't have time to vacuum, but it is spotless 10 of 10.

Do Work Aka Moon Man. What you lack in technique make up in throttle! Or a set of cheater tires.

I am really trying to move this truck quickly. It is way to nice for my DD. I put more shit inside my M3 then I do with this truck its that nice. My dog is not even allowed to ride in the cab and he sat shotgun in the M3.

Any reasonable offer will not be turned down

Out of curiosity, what do yall think a reasonable price for the truck is?

For $18k on a restored truck you are looking for a very small group of people to buy it. I look at it and think its crazy since I bought my LJ with 14k miles for around that price BUT I am not into restored trucks. Someone who is may think that truck is awesome. They may just not have found it yet so you might need to wait a little longer to sell it. Good luck  {toast}

I agree with Big Jerm and add this.  You have a truck that is restored but its not all factory/ stock parts. You prob wouldnt have a problem selling it for 18k if it was in showroom configuration.  So you can mark off the guys thats are willing to pay that much for a non factory truck. My guess is you will get 10-12,000 possibly a little more depending on how long you wait. I think with the price so high its stopping people with say 15,000 from even looking at it.

Have you tried truck trader and the classic car seller mags? Joined up on the resto sites?
