When is the next Expedition ride?

I have witnessed quite a few cool things up there. Seen ranger mock battles, helicopters landing on the field. Very cool spot. Quiet too.

Yeh, I accidently drove down a road off the FS onto a large field...got out took pics, admired the view, and then noticed a line of camo people moving behind all the tree lines....then noticed the guns....then realized we were in the Middle of the mock battle...whoops, by the time we left and went down the road, there were plenty more rangers in trucks looking at us strangely but laughing....few weeks later we tried to check out the field again and they had the road to it block off...whoops....

yeah, sounds like the same deal I went thru. I planned a weekend trip up there and found it all blocked off. I got the guy to let me through and he told me to get to the top where the marker was and hold out till a certain time. I watched a full mock battle. Was pretty cool.
