Looking for a new gun
« on: December 19, 2011, 10:31:49 PM »
Looking for a new gun. Possibly a snub nose revolver, something compact and light. If anyone know's of a good deal or wants to sell theirs - let me know. Possible trade for Parts or labor!! Either way, any input would be appreciated!!  </ARMATA/> {:shoot} {sniper} ~>}

How bout something for a lady? I have seen some .380 pistols but I need something that won't scare my wife right from the get go.
I've grown tired of this.

Ben, what about a Lady Smith?

I had a Springfield Armory XMD-40. It shot great and felt perfect, but it was just to heavy and bulky. I definitely couldn't carry it anywhere!!

I know that a smaller more compact gun will not be as accurate, but I have to be able to hide it from my 2 sons! (which go through EVERYTHING!!)  {spank}

I like the smaller .380's and have shot a friends Ruger a bit. Its snappy but not a hard recoil. You probably wont be shooting 15 yrs much with it but up close the .380 will do some damage when it starts bouncing around inside someone. Everyone likes to suggest the hamer-less .38 light weight revolvers... while a good gun, its a .38 round with little weight so it will have more recoil.

It has to be small and easy to conceal. I prefer larger guns but for my wife, smaller is better.

Sig makes a very nice .380...identical to a 1911, just really compact. Or a ruger LC9. Its a very slim 9mm. Both are perfect for concealment. I carry the sig on me inside my waistband and my glock 22 stays with me in the truck.

I got ariel a Smith and Wesson 38 body guard comes with a laser no hammer so it won't get snagged in a bag or jacket pocket. It's what a lot of cops wear on they're ankle. After I got it and shot it I wanted to go get another for me
