Really? It's that big?
« on: January 09, 2012, 08:29:43 AM »
lol, talking about the NATIONAL DEBT.  You DO make a difference, and I hope everyone of you and your families will vote this year, in the primary and all elections.

This make sense, and rather brilliantly cuts thru all the political doublespeak we get...........

. U.S. Tax revenue:         $2,170,000,000,000
. Fed budget:                 $3,820,000,000,000
. New debt:                    $1,650,000,000,000
. National debt:              $14,271,000,000,000
. Recent budget cuts:           $ 38,500,000,000

*Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:

. Annual family income:                                    $21,700
. Money the family spent:                                 $38,200
. New debt on the credit card:                           $16,500
. Outstanding balance on the credit card:          $142,710
Total budget cuts:                                                 $385

Got It ?  Like a flea on an Elephants arse.  Not even a scratch.

OK now Lesson # 2:

Here's another way to look at the Debt Ceiling:

Let's say, You come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood....your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.

What do you think you should do?

Raise the ceilings, or pump out the sh--?

Your choice is coming Nov. 2012

I'm with ya on that to some extent, but we need ya and I hope you'll vote.

I believe that ANYBODY is better than who we have, but we all have to get behind whoever the candidate is, even though we have some differing view points on some topics.

We got to get to a balanced budget and away from entitlements.

which are business aspects... which they all lack... i would have probly voted Cain... and i could care less if he had slept with a new chick in every state... who cares... blah blah... what rich person hasnt cheated these days (if he even really did)...

My thoughts on whos gonna win... Obama... why... because everyone else is divided between the republicans... obama and some other dude nobody knows are the only dems... so ALL the dems will vote obama and all the reps will be lost and confused on who they want... not to mention all this BS thats coming out about how unemployment claims are less now and yatta yatta... funny how the extensions obama pushed so hard on the last couple years for unemployment checks and food stamps are all ending in 2012 just in time for the elections... just because the unemployment draw rate isnt as high anymore doesnt mean there are jobs to fill the drop... its cause they cant legally draw anymore... so it looks like its not lower and everyones doing better just before the election...  and/or they cant draw anymore so NOW they can go get a job... hope i explained that well enough... lol.... may confuse ya but it sounded right in my head as i typed it...

right now i feel all of this mess is do to lack of morals... lack of morals from us... lack of morals from congress... lack of morals from the president...

a business does not change when you change owners... it changes when you get new management... Delete politicians and start over... hire more prior military since they deal with several different countries in person and understand there economies, ethics, and social habits... get the edge...

sorry i can ramble all night... lol

I really don't like Obama, but I don't think anyone else has a chance to beat him! I did like the home buyer tax credit, Cash for clunkers, & The American Recovery/Reinvestment Act which created 2.1 million jobs.

2 things I would like to see happen:

1.) Urine test for anyone receiving medicare, food stamps, well-fare, etc.
2.) Companies being rewarded for bringing jobs back to the US

C4C i did not like so much... its killed the ability to find a lot of vehicles for under the $4k price anymore... they were all crushed... although now i think its finally come close to catching back up but you used to be able to find a ton of older vehicles for cheap... maybe i got more of a bad taste for it when i found a 99 TJ in perfect condition turned in for C4C... lol...

i cashed in on the $8k so of course im happy about that one... lol... not real sure it stimulated the economy though... and its become a huge headache for a lot of friends now getting audited and some that never got the money because of little small print that thought for sure they would get it when they went out and bought a house...
