I used this to run a 35" tire on my stock tire carrier, until I was handed a rugged ridge tire carrier. First $20 dollar bill takes this to a new home.

It works on the stock carrier. It pushes the tire out away from the rear door to allow for a bigger spare. I used it with a 35" tire on 15x8" no problems. The part itself is alot sturdier than the tire carrier.
