I know but got to deal with what I got. We will put a 44 or pro rock 44 in the future.

44 or 30 is basically the same.  Take out the carrier, lose the side and spider gears, insert locker, adjust as needed, then re-install.  Pulling the axles to remove the carrier may be the most work-intensive part.

Don't forget to refill the diff afterwards.   {no}

I think it's good practice to use red Loctite on the ring gear bolts when re-installing.  Otherwise the video is what I remember when doing mine quite some time ago.
