Got my front locker

Yeah, the new metal heats the fluid up more than normal during the break in period, which will break the fluid down into more of a "watery" mix. Change it around 5-600 miles and you will be good!

Hmmm maybe I should do me some fluid change then... I just tossed it in, hit Morris Mountain a week later and never looked back.

My Jeep is at AllSouth and locker problem should be fixed by tomorrow end of day. Like a kid waiting for Christmas. Keeping fingers crossed no more popping.

So did I miss something? What happened with your front locker?

MY front locker was making some crazy popping noise while i was turning the steering wheel in 4 wheel drive. No noise going straight and still pulled awesome...Aussie warrantied the locker and Allsouth installed new locker and I new carrier today and still having the same issue...We changed the fluid again at the shop and this time a heavier oil and half quart more and it made the noise go away..Drove home from Buford to Kennesaw and it drove fine..Stopped at a park next to my house put in 4 wheel drive and turned some circles in 4x4 and popping was back..I am going to drive it a few more days and see what happens...Big thumbs up to the Allsouth crew for doing everything in there power to help me and figure this out

The popping came back???  That is just too F'ing weird.
