Los Suenos is a very fitting name.
Looks awesome"
My 4Runner and I are quickly becoming dirty ol' men. More attitude and less flexibility every year.

Not so good a trip to airport for Megan and I for her trip home today. I was just riding to the port with her and coming back.

We were hit from behind by a tanker fuel truck white sitting at a dead stop. W were behind a big box truck.  Our driver saw it coming and all the sudden was trying to turn into oncoming traffic blindly and I said wtf!

Then BAM, I'm showered by glass from the rear, spin and pushed into oncoming traffic where a poor guy on a motorcycle hit my door.

Tanker continued into truck in front of us who was pushed into car ahead.  Driver may have saved our lives.  We are ok but already sore. Megan just got reused from therapy from being rear ended on the last day of school last summer.

Motorcycle guy was laying flat lifeless at first but then standing and walking around but in pain and yelling. Helmet saved his head that busted my window.

Some Canadians stopped and offered to give us a ride, in 2 cars and we accepted, so we left the scene. I'm going back and report in with popo. Looks like Megan will make her flight and I'm headed back somehow.

Thanks be to God.

We are blessed. We had a big crowd for dinner last night of about 20 (Linda's spaghetti night) and I said grace.   I always ask for safe travels for us all, never thinking it might be me that's needs some extra watching over. Megan and I prayed for the motorcycle rider too.

Photo of the truck that hit us and the car that was hit by the next truck that he hit square on the frame after he hit us. All of the corner damage is from hitting us.  He hit the truck lift gate steel square and pushed it frame to frame into the car.

All of that energy would have been transferred into our car had our driver not turned the wheels and tried to escape the coming truck.  The truck stopped about 60 feet past where he hit us and pushed us into the other lane.  We are facing the direction we came from.
