Great ride guys. Hope everybody had fun. We learned some new trails so next visit we can jump right in the action. We have a great group of guys.

RD Slyter:
That was SUCH an awesome climb. Disregard my last post on the post ride pics thread. These were them. ;D

Very sorry I couldn't make it guys! As some of you know I parted out my XJ because I am starting a new project.

The new rig will be a TJ : 18" ORI Struts front - 16" King Coil-overs rear - front and rear 60's - 5.2 Magnum V8 - everything else new.

But, in the meantime I traded a few ATV's and some cash for a Suzuki/Toyota buggy, so that I could still go wheeling every month :fu(
Well, once I started looking further into the buggy I saw some sketchy work!!! Mainly some wiring issues and bad welds. Soooo, as I always do, we took EVERYTHING a part. We re-built everything from the engine to the body panels! We also installed 6.5-1 gear reduction and a evil-t twin stick. Once everything was installed and ready to test drive (7:45 Friday night) We drove it & everything looked good! We decided to drive it one last time before we loaded up to leave for WindRock - that's when Bryan noticed the front input shaft (for the mid shaft) was moving about an inch. This is probably the only part of the vehicle that we did not check or replace!! Mostly because the drive-shaft in that section is less than a foot long. Needless to say I could not take it wheeling at this point!!!
I am just now starting to cool off enough to get back on the forum! I couldn't look on here all weekend! I went directly home Friday night and posted the buggy on CL! I will just have to pull some late nights working on the TJ and get it done! I would rather start my own project from scratch than try and clean up someone else's mess for a month!
