other year to Harlan. Every one needs to go at
least once.
To see a community embrace our sport like this
place does is amazing. They open their arms and
welcome you in.....to be able to drive any rig on
the road to get to the park.....love this place!!

Need some more "normal" rigs to go! This will be a shakedown run for my Rock Krawler lift and how to drive it. Me and Kent are the only ones on 35's I think. @CaneJeep, @patman @Kennisau ? Following Tony and Danny gives me a pause, as it should, and now JRay is in the big baller club, but riding anywhere in this park is awesome so I'm game.

Sorry @jgerhard but I sold the JKU last week :) got too good a deal on a dodge 2500 to tow the CJ with. If I make this ride, it will be in the CJ buggy!

I called for our cabin early cuz (I'm OCD yep) I've found the easy housing for some of the trips such as Golden and Harlan to be booked out by other groups or by our group very early in the year. JRay usually brings someone and I may or may not have Wendy with me, depending on if her mom has a surgery and can/cannot take our kids, so we locked in early.

What are you guys favorite trails that you want to hit?
I recall Your turn, Pinball very well, and Killing Time (group had to turn around, exit was very wet). Frankenstein resulted in a very difficult uphill with some shady sections that were wet - not sure how to find that again. Of course Mason Jar and Lions Den.

1. find a cheap tool box and mount on trailer - done
2. set up weight distribution hitch so it works correctly - done
3. Get a new bolt for the one I striped and had to cut off on the weight distribution hitch - got the bolt, need to install
4. Weld on D rings on the trailer - done
5. Charge up camera and Go Pro, clean up SD cards
6. Get Jay's extra CO2 tank and get filled since I took the one out of my jeep and put it on my kegerator
7. Lay out all the stuff I want to bring so i won't forget it

I was there today. Don's is at body for finish polishing work. Kent I saw your rig in the air but no transfer case in yet. It was on the ground. (keep in mind this was at 0900 hrs right at opening.) a lot probably happened today. Clark there's a lot of welding under your rig. Steve was working at maximum speed. They did have about a 30 min. delay due to a power outage but they were back at it pretty quick.

Thanks for the update. got a txt from Danny they where working on putting it in monday, i was having some other small stuff done also, so hopefully things are going smooth.

For my fellow JK riders. I'll have spare JK D30 front axle shafts and JK D44 non rubicon rear axle shafts with me, ready to slide in. And they will actually be packed (left them in the garage when I rolled out for Golden last year).I also have some spares with me.
I've got spare rear non Rubi axle shafts too, I'm going to leave them home if that's cool. I can swap when we get back with whomever if I end up needing one.

Just got buggy & trailer home (I store them at Tim Kirk's garage). When I went to pick up the trailer I saw that one of its tires had some tread separated, so I had to go to Discount Tire for a replacement. Full CO2 tank if someone needs a fill.
I'm staying at a motel in Harlan, but will leave trailer and buggy at the cabins.
If that waterfall is the one just before the first rock garden on the left, then I have done it before. But I think the one in the video is a different one.
Yes Kirk that is the waterfall on the left as you go up in the park.
Just a fun little spot. Nothing hard.
