Here's a video of a guy rolling over at RR this past weekend. these guys are from down here in Miami, they run a shop called ROCO's. They call this thing the Iguana and he's the owner of the shop.

he just hit the gas and did't let off
-
Looks like he steered it into the wall at first too.
-
OK guys, I know I still get turned around down there, but I can't figure out where this video was taken. I'm thinkin' maybe trail 7?
-
I have no clue
-
wow, i think that was a fail on there part. the skinny pedal doesn't work as well as a winch.
-
I know camera angles can be decieving, but it doesn't look like with that big a rig he needed to gun it? Didn't look like there was anything he couldn't crawl over.
Is the guy ok?
-
Seems like that guy needs alot more seat time. {;-(} {:CH} {whack3} Even though that was a super fail I really got a kick out of the cherokee riding a pretty long wheelie.
-
There was another video in front of that one where it seemed like he was trying to get up that spot for a good 20 minutes and then he just finally gunned it and flopped. I will try and post it tonight and maybe someone can figure out where they are. Tedder, in regards to needing more seat time, these guys belong to a group called Miami Crawlers and they go all over the US, Mexico and Venezuela, so they have plenty of seat time, they are just a little on the crazy side. Nobody was hurt and the jeep only ended up with a broken rear window.
-
I think he should have stayed in the skinny when the front tires came back down and steered down the hill. {hihi}
-
Man it's not his fault. He's never seen a hill before. Used to flooring it and going flat! ;D

Glad he's ok, but I didn't say he needed more seat time. {toast}

-
Man that guy is "flippin" nuts! Sounds like somebody getting murdered with the ladies whining! ::)
-
I think I've seen videos of those guy before. They are a little nuts, but they have fun. All he needs is nitrous and some boggers. ;D
-
what a da. I hope hes better at building them than he is at driving them.

Actually he does not do any of the work his shop, he's just the owner. But, I would have to say that whoever built his cage did a decent job considering how many time he has flopped it over and the cage is still holding up.
-
I thought when you roll over, you're supposed to change the cage?
Even one flop can mess up the structural integrity or something another?

I was about to say the same thing.

That would probaly be the case if you went by the book but most people wouldn't have the money or the time to rebuild a cage everytime they flipped much less flopping. My buddies exo sami has been flipped and flopped so many times I have lost count and they have only had to tweak on the cage one time.
-
I think if you actually did a rollover and slammed it hard on the ground you will have some issues! In either case everything should be thoroughly checked out each time it happens.

guess you tried it huh.....
sorry brother anything right now to get the spot light off me and my Help me thread... I went wheelin by myself and broke my crap...

{boohoo} yeah unfortunaly

Wow....
You would think that if you owned your own park youd be able to drive...

He owns a shop!
-
I did not read all of the thread, but that roll happened at Hardrock in Ocala. It is on the lower trail on the south end of the park by the little mud pit (behind the big MX track in front) I was not there but I heard through one of the clubs that hangs with that group, plus I recognize the trail. That trail can be hard to crawl when it is wet.
-
I helped plot out some of the trails in Hardrock the first time the owner was thinking about opening it up to jeeps. The dirt is a slick as snot mix when wet and when its dry its almost like asphalt. The guys from miami are absolutely the greatest guys you'd ever want to trail ride or bbq with. BUT they do trail ride with a little machismo. Last time I trail rode with them at Tellico I think they drove all their rigs up but one. They have fun. I miss hanging out with them.
