Title: Fun at River Rock last weekend May 24

We had a blast with the Orlando Jeep Club.  Nice guys!

Dude! Sweet bumper! When were you going to share that? :o Looks like a blast. What happened to the white TJ?

Thanks, matching rear as well.  That's actually a silver Rubi, even thought it looks white in the photo, and that is all flex!  He drove through the Rat Hole and Tigers Den with no problems.  The Rancho buggy was first and just moved rocks all over as he came up.  The next guy in the burgundy Rubi broke a link, not sure which one, and clogged it up for the rest of us in line.  And oh yeah, the guy in the silver Rubi only has a left arm, and drives a 6 speed! 8)

Right there with you! I am only an hour or so away! Can't wait! The reason I asked about the Jeep is that it looked like the left rear was shoved forward. Must be the angle?

August 1-3 is available at River Rock.  Chris/Mike?

The axle is very out of line!  We were amazed at how far the rear axle was tweaked at an angle against a rock on the other side, and all was OK.  Here is a photo a few yards later:

Well, I'm 3 hours away so a bit harder for me to get down there. Plus with school in Tennessee, it's hard to drive 3 hours home on Friday, drive 3 more hours Friday night or Saturday morning. Then do the same to get back on Monday.

I'm still going to get down there though!

The new bumper does look sweet Doug. I'm open to the possibility of a ride that weekend. We need to see what everybody else thinks.

Talk to Mike and Chris. They're the ride organizers. If we don't have a ride there before I go back to school I'll give you a shout. I think they're throwing the first two weekends in August around. Actually, I might go there for the 4th of July weekend (I think the 4th is a Thursday) but that is the next weekend after Tellico  :-\ So maybe not.
