Dixie run '07... crawfords campground rock garden. My 1st REAL rock krawling trip. 2" BB 33's and went everywhere. Still wish I had the hardtop for the winter though.

I know a few guys in the North Atlantic and they all seem to like the Creepys. Never been able to see anyone wheel with them in person though. I really like those Syderlock wheels.

Not a Jeep pic but a TBT. Me in 1995 (center) with the 1978 280Z, my only mechanical experience. Did starter, distributor, hoses, plugs, ignition computer etc... Drove that thing alot even as far as Nashville until I couldn't handle the time to work on it anymore then I sold it and bought a pos Honda Accord that had been mauled by a bear (really, had big claw marks on it) that was too hard to work on for me but it ran better.

Yeah, i think it hurt my back 3 different times... maybe it was the 14 bolt with it, but i moved it around a few times and never installed them. I should have done to my TJ with them what Danny and John have/are doing... next life!

No that happens after you just made 93B for the first time, cut the side
wall on a brand new (less than 500 miles) 35'' Cooper STT, change tire
and get back around to the trail head after like an hour to find your
passenger had left his jeep blocking everyone...and he didn't leave the keys in it.....
then I got in a hurry to turn around on uneven ground and then slow motion flop....

Yeah that's one of the few things I miss about Michigan. Never got completely stuck. On our first trip out the year before I didn't have my Jeep yet so we were just in hers. It was her first time out and she did exactly what I told her not to do (which is what a lot of people do). Got to the top of a dune and didn't have enough momentum and nailed the gas when stopped burying the front end. I got behind the wheel and got it into 4low and was able to get it moving and backed down the hill. She had it pretty well figured out after that. It takes a little finesse to hit them fast enough to make it over without sending yourself sailing over the top.
Running the dunes and the beach is definitely a lot different than what we do here but it's tons of fun.

Yep Crawford's camp. I definitely like how close the camp sites are to the trails at aop & definitely do not miss trail 1 at Tellico. That road was hell after a long day of wheelin

One of my best friends in high school owned a cabin off trail 1 so we went as often as we could. I really miss this place! And yes trail 1 sucked especially in all the sharp curves where the rigs that had welded diffs caused all those tiny ditches.

A guy at work had a buddy who's parents owned a cabin on trail #1 too. He said they'd go up almost every weekend & wheel.
