Title: Can somone measure something for me.
Post by: Alex on December 04, 2008, 03:25:37 PM
If you have a tj with a Dana 30 and you know that your alignment it good, can you measure the distance between your knuckles.  I just installed my steering kit and i need to get it close so i can drive it.  I dont have anyone to help do a tape test. Thanks

I am not sure of the measurement but,  When I changed mine I just compared it to the stock steering.  I laid them next to each other and adjusted as needed.  This worked great for me.  I understand your predicament.  It is harder when you are working by yourself.

Maybe this will help.

If it wasn't raining right now, I would help you out.

I just measured 50 inches from the inside edge of each of the bottom slotted nuts.  I think I'm lined up pretty well.
