It mounts through the factory bolt holes on the frame. It can go over the factory bumper but longer bolts will be needed.

What years of TJ do these fit?

They came out of a 97. Are floor bolt pattern different of the years?

There is a difference. Not sure if bolt pattern and seat height or just one or the other.
Corbeau list one set part numbers for 97 to 02 and a different set of part numbers for 03 to 06.

It should work with the 97-02. The frame and all that is attached to the soft top is there.
