Title: Pittsburg (Harbor Freight) vs Pro Eagle Jacks
Post by: Mortalis5509 on January 01, 2019, 01:45:38 PM
To me, the Pro Eagle is made by Pittsburg that harbor freight carries. I have had the 3 ton Aluminum Pittsburg for 4 to 5 years with no issues and I would buy another.

Pro Eagle is expensive but with those big wheels it rolls real nice. If you never tried to move a rig with a floor jack it's not that easy. Pro eagle has a bottom skid and the extension. I cannot tell you how many times I havd stacked 2x4 to get something high enough. A lot times I put jack stands under the frame and let the axle fall out to do things. To get them high enough I stacked 2x4's. Same thing for the sxs.

Pictures to compare.  (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/836013d89baadfb48ae29ca163077489.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/048ea780b02ecbca4d617e635b338710.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/ef3454ee7b9a96433a3ea23404d846c5.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/a6ab84a78f60199a6aec6bf0e5aa325d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/5a7a325061cbfa05b42eb2b87e6ca6d6.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/2720cf6bd08b05a42da2cf15906665c3.jpg)

So I guess with the Pro Eagle you can’t turn it once weight is on it since it doesn’t have swivel casters in the rear like a regular jack. Interesting. Trade off I guess for smooth rolling.

That would have made it perfect but the wheels would have to a lot smaller unless some high arch was built to hold the wheel.

I was studying the ProEagle this past week & had wondered at similarity to HF jack ; thanks for the side by side + good timing ( for me) of it.

Sure beats stacking 2x4's. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190125/a35ecfe18cb1917d931a9c2246856b5e.jpg)
