Huh?  Are you serious?  Don't ruin that Rubicon!  It's has crawled everywhere you've pointed it.  Buy a 97 TJ, or even a salvage JK that's bent up, and build it. Sorry, I'm i shock.  :o

You'd have to weld on new brackets to get them to fit under the JK. They are shorter than JK axles also.

I think the JK axles are wider than the TJ! I will let the better educated chime in on that one.

OK just let me know when the axles sell and you are ready to get rid of the 241., Just don't want you to promise the T/C to someone on JF or something without giving my cash a chance.

Adam,
I would keep the x-case long term, mine has worked great for me.   Very strong, you already owm it, you can get a 2-Low kit, etc.  With 40" tires, 5:13 gears and the 4:1 x-case your gearing will be great plus yours is a six speed I think which is even lower first gear than I have.

After I get my Jeep up to Scott's for the cage you'll have to come up there with me and hang out one night ot weekend.  I know you said you wanted to see some build pics but this way you can maybe get some ideas for what you want to do to yours.

I really like a couple of Jeeps on the Pirate4x4 "Ultiamte TJ build Thread"....  That is were I confirmed some of my ideas..
