Definitely!!!

Awesome news!!
-
Any word on if it’s just the right side of the park or will the part left of the track be open too?
I’ll take what I can get but there was some fun stuff on the left side.

Didn't see that, but looks like potential open/cleanup day late February
-
My understanding is left of the track , was not sold to the current owners. It will not be part of the riding unless something changes.
-
I think one of the areas to the left of the track was “the moon”.
Razorback is still one of my all time favorite trails.
-
John, I do believe you are correct & the dry creek bed.

They’re saying April, possibly March to reopen.
I only went there once, for GATRFest when it poured down rain. Hit one trail after the rain, scared the shit out of my kids going down some sketchy, muddy rocks, and didn’t see any more of the trails. Seems like a great park though.

I live 14 miles away. It is a great park, but if it rained i would not even go.
-
One of the two years I went in my stock XJ, it was pretty soggy (lot of rain) but still was passable & a lot of fun.

A few I found on my phone

That was a tight fit.
-
@steve.workman has that been your only flop?

A few pics from the last time i was there, the final weekend prior to their close and also the one-ton shakedown for my old CJ. Wheeled all friday night hitting all the good trails, then Saturday morning ripped the frame side three link from the chassis on Yellow Jacket. Poured 2 hours later so I just went home :((https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240127/9d32097ef0f6c73722ce5a2dad025067.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240127/085463337ea8126890081f1488db698f.jpg)

Yes and no damage to the Jeep at all. Thanks Jay for getting me back on my wheels.

We caught some pretty decent sized fish in that pond a few years back. When I say we, it was my son and a few others, definitely not me lmao

That was a big ass catfish Justin caught! And that Bass lincoln caught was nice too!

Owners posted on FB that they’ll be open every weekend after the grand opening. But they didn’t say when that grand opening will be. I guess someone from SFWDA was telling people it would only be open 3-4 times a year. Seems like some groups are helping out with trail cleanup.

Would be nice if a trail cleanup gets organized outside of SFWDA. I’d love to go help but I’m not getting involved with them
-
I think sfdwa is trying to get back into their pockets because that was a serious cash cow for them with dixie run at this park.

Same and same. I’m in if it gets organized

Cleanup is done. I was there and did not have any with Southern, except talking to Woodlee. He like so Southern. They are just trying to get the utilities worked out at the upper pavilion, last i heard. It will be soon. The day of the clean up it was wet, so you could not drive up anything. Had to walk up to clean up.
