The best place to check prices is http://www.budsgunshop.com (http://www.budsgunshop.com)

I'm getting ready to get a new carry gun.  Probably going to be the Springfield XD-S 9mm or S&W M&P Shield in 9mm.  Both under $500.

I can believe how stupid expensive revolvers have gotten.

Let me know what you want before you buy. I can probably get you a better price.

Had a bersa thunder .380, great gun and very accurate. Have a springfield XDS 3.3 .45 now and love it. Definitely my favorite carry gun. But nothing beats a 1911 .45... and yes, I do carry that one from time to time  //;D// I don't care to own a glock. Too much $ and tons of other options out there. Never owned one but never cared for them either.

The article is based on guns under $500,

and they probably use list price as the guide,

so Glocks wouldn't be considered if the list is at or above $500.

Agreed.  I also bought my Kimber 1911 and M&P9c there.

Good people.  Same folks who own Cherokee G&P.

I didn't know that, I will have to swing by and check their selection. I got the itch for a new boom stick

I thought Dawsonville was the same owner as Forsyth Gun & Pawn.   Do they own all 3?

I dropped into the "general store" at the intersection of Spot Rd. and Hwy 9 recently.  They have a decent stock of pistols and ammo, including some used guns.  Might be worth a look?

I forgot about that place. A friend of mine just got a new G42 from them and it was around $60 below anyone else.

If you pay more than $399 for a Glock 42 your paying to much.

What's y'all take on the Ruger SR22? My wife wants one for her birthday and have been looking for one at my local shops.
