Ok the cabins in the park are all booked up.
I have been searching around all day and the best thing I am finding is the Comfort INN 1-865-481-8200 which is about a 15 minute drive to the park. They do offer a free breakfast. They offer a discount if you mention Windrock/Coal Creek. I am also working with the management and trying to get a GATR group discount. So far prices are $70 night for a room with 2 queens or 1 King..Please post up if your going and want to stay in a hotel or Tent Camping. There are plenty of tent sites and RV sites open.

Im fine with tent camping. it will just be me in the tent. i would like to be close to others in the group that may be tenting camping , if thats possible.

I'm in! As of now, it's just me so I plan on camping. I'll call tomorrow and try to get a camp site near Kent. I plan to drive up on Friday morning and should arrive around 10 or 11 am. I'll update this post once I've confirmed my plans. Looking forward to a great trip. ;D
UPDATE: I have tent site P-14 reserved for Friday and Saturday (Poptop = Kevin).

Just FYI: don't see any cooking fixtures listed anywhere
Primitive Camping (25)
$16 per night, 2 people
Each additional person over 15 yrs old, $3 per night, per person
Weekly Primitive Camping rate (minimum of 7 days) $100 + tax (excludes Holidays or Events)
Primitive Campsites have fire rings and bath house.
The rates above do not include state, local or hotel tax.

I don't see that it says that anywhere, and she was very specific with me on the phone when I inquired if there was a tent pad. She said there is a parking pad and a grass area, and some folks pitch their tent on the parking pad gravel, but only 1 tent is allowed per site.
If you find out differently, please let me know.

I know it DOES say "2 adults", doesn't say anything about how many tents per site. I think it's more of a space available thing.
Not exactly sweating it though.

very nice, allsouth installed some for me, i also am bringing some cheap running lights i picked up which are the same watt/power as my stock running lights, but i wanted to mount these on my bumper until
i get my winch. does anyone have tools they could bring to do the wire. i will try and bring what i have. , maybe someone can help me, i am going to hook them up the the existing running lights on my turn signal, .
