Title: AEV Nth Slider - FRONT D44 Differential Skid Plate - $200.00
Post by: Matt on September 08, 2011, 11:53:35 AM
I have a slightly used front D44 slider. It is the original grey color.

Works on TJ D44 (Rubicons).

This does not work on D30 axles or it would be under my jeep.

These smooth differential skid plates not only keep you from getting hung up on your differential, but also protect the vulnerable U-joint and Yoke on TJs. Each unit is specially designed to fit specific axles and take up virtually zero ground clearance. Slider is built primarily from 1/4" steel and comes with a black power coat finish with all hardware. Simple hand tools required. TJ models are suitable for mounting our Stinger for the ultimate in traction.

First $200 cash takes it.
These are $260 new + S&H

I love the one in the rear of my jeep, it keeps the rocks off the yoke and lets the rear slide over rocks. Excellent build quality, as to be expected.

Wonder if it would work on a waggy front?

Its possible. Their site says - Front Dana44 (TJ and Older)

But the part description just talks about TJs

The axle tubes on the waggy are bigger than the TJ's 44, but I'm not sure if it's bigger in diameter or just thicker.

I will measure the I.D. of the U bolts when I get home.
