Exterior / FS: Rock Hard JK rear bumper w Tire Carrier.
« Last post by tcdawg on Yesterday at 09:03:55 PM »
FS: Rock Hard 4x4ís rear bumper with tire carrier.  Includes the bumper with trailer hitch receiver and D ring mounts and the swing out tire carrier with hi lift attachment points.  The spare tire carrier currently has a 5 x 5.5 lug pattern. There are other lug patterns including the standard JK 5x5, you would just need to grind off the current lugs and press or weld in new mugs for your bolt pattern.

This bumper is well used but perfectly functional and a very solid piece.  Lots of scratches under the bottom of the bumper.  A new finish coat of paint and it would look brand new.  I refinished it about 18 months ago. The tire carrier was only used for a week in Moab after that paint job so itís still nice and clean. The bumper could use a fresh coat if paint.

It is this bumper/tire carrier

Thanks!!  I had to look up a pat of butter. Apparently your moms recipe is quirky. Haha

Life is getting in the way, I won't be able to make this ride.  I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Current plan is riding passenger in my buddy Joe's jeep which is at AllSouth getting a 3.5" RK lift and 37" tires (Toyos currently with Method beadlocks) put on.  I don't know his username on here.

So BigPrince +1 I guess.

PS - @jd30005 IF - and I mean IF - you happen to stop by AllSouth, your GMRS radios are in my Jeep there at AllSouth.  Just threw them in there on the off chance you might go to AllSouth for another reason coincidentally.  If you aren't I'll still bring them to at least Black Moose or figure another way to get them back to you.  I apologize I have had them so long.

Grillin' & Chillin' / Harlan Mac and Cheese

On our way to Harlan from Denver, we stopped at my parent's house in Louisville, KY.  I'd asked my mom to make the sides I'd signed up to bring.  She worked at restaurants, did corporate catering, and owned her own cafe for a little while.

She made Mac and Cheese that was a huge hit, and I've gotten asked if she would send the recipe.

She's cooked long enough that she doesn't normally use a recipe, or really even measure the ingredients.  But she sent this over, and it should be easy to replicate.

* ~1.5 cups American (shredded)
* ~1 cup Reggiano-Parmesan (grated)
* ~1 cup Pecanino Romano (grated)
* ~1 cup Parmesan cheese (regular Kraft grated)

She said the key is to start with well-seasoned pasta (she used Rigatoni).  Fully cook the pasta and drain it, then season it with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic salt.  Taste the pasta by itself and make sure it tastes good just like this.  Add the American cheese and stir to melt/coat the pasta.

Put the pasta into a 9x13 pan.  Add half-and-half to cover the bottom of of the pan.  Add the remaining  cheeses on top of the pasta.  Add several pats of butter to the top of the cheese.

Cover with foil, and bake at 350 until everything is melted and bubbly.  Mix well after removing from the oven.
