We're staying in the  big cabin at Tellico Cabins. What time are you gonna be there? Some of us are going rafting Saturday, but some aren't.

Hey Mark.  I'm not really sure how the meal thing is gonna work.  I think everybody is just gonna bring their own grilling item (meat) and a side or two.  I guess just bring what you want for breakfast and like last time, we will all pitch in and make one big breakfast.  Doug's wife is gonna make a side and if your wife made potato salad, it should fair well.  How was Sturgis?

  Hey again,
we rode. Total miles was a little over 4600.  Left Atlanta and then Alabama to Miss. up to Menphis Tenn and took I40 to to Okl city and then back roads  north west till N.M. then cut north into Colorado Rockies and followed them up above Denver then cut East across Plains into Arkansaw then north into Black Hill S.D. Stayed in DeadWood S.D.. Really cool small western town with alot of OLD Hotels etc. Rode in Custer Park (where Danceing with wolfs was flimed) Got stuck in the road when a herd of  Bison were crossing. They got close enough to where we could just about touch them. Was stuck there about 15 minutes till a park ranger with a truck moved them out of the way. Man, the bulls were HUDGE. Some were 9' from shoulder to ground. I was a bit nervous but they just minded there on business and would look at us as they crossed. Alot of baby calfs were in ythe herd. We saw 3 or 4 differant herds high in numbers. Will get the wife to get pictures off camera and I will post some

Wheelbase is good if your belly is up, but if it ain't, the long wheel base will hurt in most cases.

Send Krawler00 a message about camping. THere's a good spot at the base of the trails called Crawford's. He's staying there and, if I'm not mistaken, a few other members.

Yes, either place has great camping. Most of us will be at Tellico Cabins, which as Chris said has tent camping. You would be more than welcome to use the bathrooms and showers at our cabin which is only a stone's throw across the street.

As for camping either is a good choice the one across from the cabins are closer but next to the pavement and the loud guys across the street! ;D Welcome to tag along. I am staying at crawfords for a little more peace and quiet this time. I have my 2yr old son with me as well. How bout your rig, Lockers, winch? Have you looked at our required list for trail rides? Just check to make sure you have all the required parts and come on!

Hey Chuck!  Out of curiosity, what is your wheeling experience?

Im from south TX so what I have done is alot of muddin and rocky hill climbing but nothing like some of the rock crawling I have seen pics of. I use to own an '81 Toyota 4x4 truck that was tricked out but got rid of it when i got married. We now have a pair of Honda machines that we ride and mud with, but  I am now trying to get back into trail riding with my son. Tellico looks awesome, I know some of it will be out of my league for my first time out with this new rig, but I wont to go out and have a good time with my boy before I deploy again in a few weeks. I am really looking forward to this. I will try not to slow you guys down.

Thanks to everyone for all the INFO!

Hey come on up. I wont be there but these guys will take care of ya. Your rig looks very capable. Just make sure you listen to your spotter, and you will be fine.

You guys stay safe and have fun. I want to see some good pics sunday night.  ;)

I will be there!!!

I had a SWAT call and missed the ride. Maybe I can make it tommorow.
