I've been talking to this fella for a few years, and @clark123456 bought some cheata tars from him. He wants to trade for a JKU. This rig is badass and I would love to have it but I've decided it's not exactly what I want. I would have to put a CJ/TJ grill on it lol.
The build list is AWESOME! over $60,000 invested! SO WHY HASN'T IT SOLD? 5 lug hubs? Would be awesome as a leave it at @jc79 JC's MO/CO rig... street legal, tagged and insured, full hydro can be challenging.

Custom BlueTorch One Ton V8 Jeep Buggy Crawler
Jeep was built by Dan Dubose and Rob Parks. I had kids during the build and never got back into riding so its in like new condition. It is for sale or trade but would prefer to trade for a JKU. I will also trade up for very built JKUs. Jeep has a clear title and I have it tagged and insured to drive on the road.

How hard is it to put back to hydro assist?
-
60K [wtf]
I would want a lot more for my over 60k investment.

Factored in labor?
List price on pirate is $27,5

Would need a steering box, linkage, and possibly limit front travel. (Assuming there's still a place to mount a stock steering box)

Grab that thing for $25k and wheel the piss out of it as is. Cool rig.

And it’s bulldog red

SO WHY HASN'T IT SOLD?
5 lug hubs?
Rear 60 not big enough, should be a 14b?
-
And it’s bulldog red
That's the biggest problem for me. Not a red vehicle fan...

The rear 60 would not scare me as long as it is a 35 spline. Most are not. The hubs could be hurting it. Lots of older builds liked the 5 lug stuff. Now they are snapping the studs often. The engine kills it for me. I would say that is why it has not sold. Along with the 700r4 hurts it.

It’s worth a drive to go see it. Could be location. Hell, I’m tempted. Could do a 14b anytime. Most drag cars have 5 lugs, not sure why that is a concert. Walker Evan wheels should hold up. Hell, I’m really tempted.

Looks like a nice ride.

Curious on your 700r4 comment since I know nothing about them. I have a dana 300 with a 700r4 adapter on the front.... they're not any good? Or not good with a lot of power behind them?

Hmmm
Only thing I don't like is how tall she is; I'd want those COs hooped thru the hood and rear so it sat about 2" lower to the ground. Heck, 400HP FI v8 is 3x the power my 3.8l has. I would consider this if I have a chance to drive it & look it over.
Plus, I like the YJ front clip AND it bein Dawg red.

You can have a chance... just call the number

Depends on what you are doing with it. Eric had one behind a SC 3.8 and it would not take it. Broke it multiple times.

Square headlights are cool.

He’s been trying to move it for a long time. I talked to him a few months ago when he wanted to work a deal out for my JKU

It sits really tall.
UCF or BTF effed him, iirc. I think it was BTF. They left it, and all of the new (unpainted) parts in the tub of it, out in the rain/weather for months.

is it possible that it had leafs on it as recently as 2 years ago? I swear I have seen this YJ in person up here in Ashland City for a short period of time...it was horribly miss configured but I then last heard about it going to get "fixed" in Alabama at BTF. Maybe not the same but sure looks like the YJ I recall....the one I was speaking about had rediculous pinion angles and blocks on the leafs at the time ...sacrilege ....
I suppose there are many red , lifted , mucked-up YJs around the SE, heh
