Looks like we get two rides in June. Aetna will be the first. I created a check-in thread already, so here's a discussion thread.
Let's here what you think.

I'm not going to put my name on the check in list for either rides yet since they are both a long way out, but hopefully I can make one or both of them.

X2! Aetna was fun but I don't think it's worth the drive for me. Unless it's an overnighter.

im up for aetna again. not to sure about tellico. i want my jeep to stay in one piece. aetna was fun but i still stalled several places. i heard tellico was harder so im gonna have a tougher time there.

its not that bad up there. No you cant hit the big obstacles like some of the other guys could but you trailer your Jeep as well..... Several of us went last time on our daily drivers, had a blast and still drove them home.

Nothing your Jeep could not handle. You will have a blast! Just get that winched fixed. There are some really steep climbs like schoolbus and heading up to guardrail and helicopter but other than that you will be fine!

Actually, Schoolbus is open. Lower (2), Slickrock (9), part of (8) and Peckerwood (7) are all closed for 1 year. Everything else is open.

Will, don't do that! Schoolbus is one of my favorite trails, up is great... but down is even more fun! I want to go head up trail 4 to guardrail to helicopter then up the backside of schoolbus and down it. That was a fun ride for me last time!

Sorry, thought that one was closed. Never hit school bus before. The only major obstacle I've done at Tellico is Slickrock, and I only actually drove about 10 yards of it :D I was winched the rest of the way, but it was pretty ridiculously wet.

i dont know if i can make it, but if my schedule is open i'd be game again, gotta say im a little hooked, not a total
newbie, but i never been jeepin in the mountains, makes its alot more fun then going over the same bump all day long.

Aetna is way better than Tellico and I have been wheeling Tellico for almost 10 years.

Aetna's cool, but it ain't Tellico. Don't get me wrong. I really like Aetna and there's probably just as much difficult stuff there, but Tellico is much more scenic.

I got to admit i was a little scarred of the place. All i heard were big rocks, rigs breaking, winches being used and I thought I was over my head but Chris lead us on the right paths and a few other members did some awesome spotting jobs when needed and we all got through it and now I cant wait to get back. We went late December to ride Slickrock and it was fun minus the mud.
I enjoyed Aetna as well but Ive been there once and it was during the rain.

Ehh, scenery schmenery. The wheeling at Aetna is WAY better. Way more to do, doesnt beat you to death along the way and no lines to wait in.

Love to go but I can't do this one for gas and I will be in Indy for the Goodguys Indy car show for work. Savin pennies for the Tellico ride! Lookin forward to that one!

I didn't see a general discussion thread for the new run to Mountainside on the weekend of June 7. It looks like it will be a weekend trip. Any chance that I could hook up with the group just for a day? I can only swing a day trip.
