I love Jeep Beach and have gone the past 2 years. I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Going on a reward trip with my wife the week before and can't take both weeks in April.

What is it like? Never been.

Social Jeep show where you watch folks that have never seen rocks and hills encounter a few on the Daytona infield.
HUGE vendor show. Big parties at night. Lots of club parties.
Lots of social events. More social events.
LS and 40 JK's everywhere. Lots of bling. Lots of classics. Everything you can imagine.
Bikinis.
We go with the same friends from FL as a get away, and do less of the Jeep Beach thing every year, and more of our own thing. St Augustine, Orlando, down the coast, up the coast, fishing, whatever, but have to do a day in the speedway... its crazy fun.
The parade of 2000+ jeeps is a sight doing a lap ON the speedway

This will be year #4 for me, grabbed a house off VRBO to stash the hardtop and doors in.

Jeep Beach is a lot of fun. As Doug said, it's mainly social. Try to find the smaller parties and the PSC party the last night at Main St. Station is the best one.

Booked my hotel. At the Residence Inn Oceanfront Thu & Fri night and Residence Inn by the Track Sat night. A little funky but only way I could use all points. Hoping the Jeep is ready for this and the Cove. Crossing fingers the rest of the parts come in quickly.

So would you drive the jeep down or trailer? Just curious what people do with their trailers that are staying in hotels/rentals without lots of parking.

Definitely have to drive it. Pump up the tires really good (40psi?) so you wear the middle to even them out.

I can hook you up on safe and secure trailer parking for $5 a day. Used it for 6 years. Not far from the speedway.

It was a short night Tuesday night to bed at 130 and up at 5, and a long day driving down but we made it fine. 80 mph the entire way, love my Duramax, but wasn't impressed with mpgs, but this trailer and rig are heavy. Close to 10k.
Jeep's freakin everywhere. Girls are on their beach walk. Going to meet with Gerald w Savvy this morning and then out for a drive with a waterfront oysters and beer afternoon. Mostly relaxing. Needed it.

I didn't take any loaded.
I have about 6' of extra trailer in the front when loaded over the fenders and with proper tongue weight. Towed smooth as silk.

*side note. my tap talk on my iphone is acting strange, it opens, and then in about 3 sec, min. it wont stay open, keeps droping out, not sure what the issue is..

Yep an old Willy's cj-3b. It's just for cruising around town. Yota remains for trail duty.

Gerald is a great guy and we've been trying to hook up for many months to make sure Bestop uppers fit. Your right that Marty is a cool kid and awesome to hang with.
Anyway they don't, but will with a small modification. Next production run will fit both brands.

No idea yet, as they are not available but they will be on my jeep in 40s. The test data shows some great performance in all areas. Maxxis has been working on this one for years.
and I have a special for the club when they are available!

Allsouth will paint them red to match and I'll have the arm rest parts powder-coated black on the advice of Marty so they will hold up to the wear.
Allsouth paints all of my stuff OEM quality. My tube fenders, Tahoe roof, whatever. On the last jeep corners, etc. Full paint booth, and quality work.
