In for Saturday, leading the “small tire” group although it’s been a minute since I’ve been to Morris.

The Morris Mountain Shamrock run has been going on for a looooong time...and it's a party!  it can get crowded but the people watching and jackassery that goes on never disappoints!

PARK INFORMATION :

Address :
1524 Henry Davis Rd. Delta, Al  36258

Website :
http://www.morrismountainorv.com/index.htm

PARK RATES :
$20/day
$30/weekend

AMENITIES :

- Unlimited Primitive camping
- Restrooms
- Pavilion

About Morris Mountain
The park was created from a lack of places to go wheeling.  It started as a pastime for Kris and Randy Morris and quickly grew into Morris Mountain ORV Park.  The park now has obstacles, trails, mud pits, canyons, and a primitive camping facility.

Our experience trying to find places to ride kept leading us to areas that forced you to pay for full weekends, camping facilities, or required reservations, making a spur of the moment one day wheeling trip impractical or unaffordable.  As a result,  MMORV has flexible hours and low fees to allow the average joe to take a half -day wheeling trip or a weekend long outing.

Morris Mountain ORV park will be open on the 2nd and 4th weekends of every month only.  Note this does not apply to privately rented events.

I’d take them for welding / random stuff if you haven’t already taken them to the recycling

I got a set of scout d44 rear shafts you can have... splines are missing but the lugs are still good haha. 5x5.5 pattern

I think sfdwa is trying to get back into their pockets because that was a serious cash cow for them with dixie run at this park.

Would be nice if a trail cleanup gets organized outside of SFWDA. I’d love to go help but I’m not getting involved with them

Owners posted on FB that they’ll be open every weekend after the grand opening. But they didn’t say when that grand opening will be. I guess someone from SFWDA was telling people it would only be open 3-4 times a year. Seems like some groups are helping out with trail cleanup.
