Dry as f_ _ _ k.
There is some amazing history in this "secret city" of Oak Ridge.  Seriously, look it up.

Good day of trail riding. Big thanks to Cannonball Kevin for leading us today. The map app is nice.
Damn XJ doesn't like paved Mnt hill climbs while in 2wd. Boiled over again. Went back to camp this morning to find the pins for the E fan connector had melted.
I thru in another fan for good measure & still boiled over on our afternoon ride.
Fuel pump is acting weird too.

I think we are done for the weekend unless I can find a place to park the truck/trailer & drive the Jeep in 4 low.
It doesn't overheat in low range.

Do your trans fluid running through your radiator ?

No

If he has a radiator that has a port to cool the trans fluid...I’m thinking his trans is overheating in high gear and it’s making the radiator hotter than it should be and the fan can’t keep up
Up.

I agree.

I almost slid down a little embankment, i only ended up poking a hole in my sidewall. Jodi decided to rip off his trackball bracket.

I'm glad we all made it out of there on all 4 wheels.

No joke.  There's a shop right out of the park on the way to town on the left that will take care of welding that track bar mount back up.

Hope Jodi can get the TB bracket fixed to continue to wheel.  The JK TB bracket is notorious for either needing replacement or extra support.  I’m assuming it’s the frame side.  Didn’t he just do new axles, the TB bracket on the axle should be strong.

It was the axle side on his UD60. He got it welded up and we are back out on the trails.

I'll post pics tomorrow when I get home.

Bent both sliders enough to push up into the rockers pushing both of my front doors up a little.

And knows what else.

After a long day on friday with @Bjk77, @Grass Janitor, @filco  I said I was going to stay on the blue moderate trails today but, nooooo, I had to go and check out little school bus with Jeremy @j-dubya and Phil @filco. It was fun, costly, but fun lol.

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves this weekend!

We tried to go sight seeing but missed a turn and ended up somewhere in the TN mountains lol. This is how good the map and app are. The road was clearly marked as "Dead End*. Nope. It ran straight into Knoxville highway.

This is the nasty spot on 21, if you lose it to the passenger side you're down the mountain and without winches that's a high probability.  Nice teamwork by all involved getting everyone down safely.  I think going up the trail would work out a lot better but either way that spot is sketchy.

Will that is panther rock trail 51. Jus got home from a long 4 days of riding. Thanks to everyone for the help get my rig back to the parking lot and fixed. We have the best club. Everyone pitches in and help and takes care of everything in between. Had a great weekend covered a lot of trails and swallowed a lot of dust. Was great for wheeling though. Hopefully we’ll see everyone soon. May have a tow rig by then and it will be a lot less tiring..

All that I have is the Rock crawler track bar. I’m like Tony I would have thought the frame side would have let go first. But my ram was welded to the mount. It’s got a spot for a ram on the bottom but I wanted it up on the front to protect the ram.

Just 4 link and go full hydro, then you wont have to worry about that bracket ever again lol.

I still have mine...need to be triangulated to get rid of the track bar.

Well damn Chuck, hope you made the obstacle

I did not! I made it over the first ledge on trial 38 but was denied by Little School Bus, which is where all the damage came from. I hit the rock so hard I think the computer thought it was in a crash. The engine light came on, it wouldn't shift into gear. I would shut it off and it would start back up but it would take a few seconds to find a gear. Once I got back on flat ground and turned it off and let it sit for a few minutes everything came back to normal.

Damn Chuck! Did you drive that thing up there? You're beating it like it owes you $$$. (harder than some trailer guys. [baby])

Great spotting, and a very smooth driver right there....I really thought Chuck was going to send it, but it was perfect.  Nice!

The spotter - Jeremy is new to club and I believe this was his first ride with us (the other red XJ). But, don't let his XJ fool ya, he knows what he's doing and is going to fit right in with this group.

This guy is the one that help me. He is really good. And will stay up all night with ya. He doesn’t charge a lot either. He will travel a little ways but he’s only like 5 miles from Windrock. If you need him to he will come to you.

Hell yes!  Nicely done sir. When the ledges still look big on video, you know it’s serious!

What was his welder setup (portable unit that connects to batteries, a generator and welder in one, batteries and welding rods, etc)?

We went to his house he used mig. Pretty sure I heard his buddy mention a generator before we decided to take it to his shop. He had 4 jeeps that were in working order and 4 or 5 in various stages of builds. He had a tube buggy tj and a rock bouncer for sale.
