9:00 am local time is the norm. We have a small group and it’s a small park if y’all want to start later is fine too.

9am local works for me.  I'm already loaded up.
Great to meet and wheel with you Joel!

I took zero pictures.

We ran the entire park in 6 hours, fun day. Weather was crisp but sunny, perfect wheeling weather.

We did have a potential problem that we were able to work through.   The Park was rented out to a private group. We had no idea.  Luckily, the group(from south Al) was very cool and allowed us to throw  them a few bucks and wheel w them.  We really never even saw them other than at the V notch area where they spectated Steve crawl the notch!!

It was wheeling with y’all. I didn’t take many pics, but got great shots of Tony and Steve making V-Notch look easy.

Had a great time. It took 4 hours yesterday to clean all the mud that was thrown inside my jeep out. Never again will I wheel without my half doors.

I had vibrations at 50mph on the way home. In the JL the front drive shaft doesn't turn, so at home I put it in 4lo while turning. The driver said was making all kinds of noise. I pulled it and sent it out to RCV today. The bells are to big to pull through the knuckle. I have dynatrac balljoints, but the upper joint is long and makes pulling the knuckle off with an rcv an absolute pain. Will not be an issue to get it fixed or replaced.   (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/044b6a8f01ccdae8389cd4404292d61c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/fd7f615266bc6346b54d518da4085bc8.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/a141199a913cc141d8e013d904ac9769.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/3f85a42b1205c9de49837529d0449711.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/d52d85a971a77c409f581ffc3f07e47e.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/f514d21e2aa5ff646b7eb52c86d5d38b.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/1b240da9939f99101922cc84ef0f3cc6.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/bdf6b5b49ad5614f490cd07a6b671ed0.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/799d9c98719ae3f145b6664fd056bfc9.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/62b67ec5a73a8201d4f04af7451deda9.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/03ef865a00a1aa86b91863da9ed428ba.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220223/7935208a05cc03bdfb19a9097f88bb28.jpg)

The more I read about RCVs the less likely I am to buy them. Seem to have a lot of issues vs a branik or ctm joint

This is the first issue I have had with a set. I had them in an sd 05+ before they were an off the shelf axle shaft, in my tj 44 with stickies, sxs, and now jl. I'll find out from them what exactly the failure is.

The amount of maintenance a ctm or branik u joint needs is a lot. From my understanding, bronze bushing cannot be replaced on a branik u joint but a ctm can be rebuilt. They need to be greased after every weekend of riding or you can score the bushings in them. Im going to use them over rcv becuase of the degrees of steering I want. Nothing else in the new rig.

This was on the rear of gomez new car
(Picture want upload right now but ill post later on)

Braniks are nice large u joints, and I have them and prefer them over RCV but the are a pain in that ass to install. I had to walk away at least 4 times and throw stuff. SO after that I grease them all the time, so I don't have to change them. I mean like every time I stop at camp. They are easy to grease.
