I'm planning to ride at River Rock on Saturday, and Sunday is a maybe. I plan to arrive by 9AM. Let me know if you would like to join.
2008 Spring Crawl May 2-4.
Gates will open at 8:00am Friday for registration, riding to begin at noon. Gates will close at 4:00 Sunday.
Fee is $45.00 per rig and $10.00 for passengers/spectators.
"ILL WIND" will perform Saturday night.
Another set of tires will be given away Saturday night along with other prizes from our sponsors.
New Rule: "MANDATORY OPERABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS MUST BE IN VEHICLE OR THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON TRAILS, NO EXCEPTIONS."
Primitive camping is free. Camping sites with power/water hookups is $30.00 for Friday thru Sunday and must be reserved in advance. Space is limited
Concessions will be provided on Saturday.

Hey Mike, right now it's just me. Planning to go down Friday night to the cabin. The big girl (same as at Tellico) wants to go but has a sleepover Sat night, so she's real torn on what to do. My same buddy, Steve, might join me Saturday as well.

If they are forecasting rain this far ahead, there's only a slim chance it will actually rain then and there. More likely snowing, or blazing sun, but not raining, cause they are rarely right 4 days out. It seems that the world is far too majestic and dynamic, and all of the best "computer models" can't agree and tell us what the weather will be for even 5 days. I like the surprise.
I hope their wrong again. ;D

Yep, it shows scattered thunderstorms at 50%, so maybe they'll be late when the heat builds. Maybe we will get lucky. You coming?

really? How big? I only have 1 small one, like a 5x6 or something close to it. I figure I need at least 2 big ones, maybe more. One to cover mattress in the bed of a truck and one to cover the top of the couch and the bookshelf. I can swing by Tomorrow evening or Thursday evening depending on what works for you. I got to check my dads garage for some tarps but I am pretty sure ours are long gone or holes all in them.
**O yeah, THANKS! It will save me some money.... to spend on gas, lol.

Dangit, if this wasn't the last weekend of school I would be riding with you guys. I'm gonna have to cut my work time a little anyways. Just too much studying and a paper to write. I know Jimmy would be there in a minute too if he didn't have finals.

Well I'm going home for the summer after this weekend :-\ But I bet our tail ride organizers will get us a weekend down there in the fall at the latest, if not July or August. I'm pretty sure everybody likes it there a lot.

I would like to go as i have my last final tomorrow but with my grades this semester i cant give my parents any reason to be pissed. My mother is already going to think i didnt study for finals when i bring home my axle. If all goes wrong they just payed $10,000 for me to get an A in a lab and three D's in my Engineering classes :-X. I wish D's were passing haha. Clemson worked my over this semester.

D stands for done :P What are you taking right now? Physics 2 is kicking my butt right now. The back-to-back multivariable calc and dynamics finals tomorrow are going to be rough, but I've been studying for them constantly since Monday so hopefully I will do ok.

Wow, you guys missed a day out there today. I didn't even do any wheeling and I'm exhausted. A buggy on 54 inch boggers took a big tumble. You haven't seen a roll over until you see 54 inch boggers roll :o
Let's just say there's been a lot of carnage. Steve had to get the track hoe for three different rigs. ;D

We just started getting a few rain drops over here.

I just got back. It hasn't rained yet. Started sprinkling a little bit, but no rain yet. My LORD! Soooo many people down there. The field is complretely packed. Never seen it so crowded. Never seen that many hot ladies out there before either. :o haha ;D
Well we had a pretty fun ride this morning. I took it easy cause I gotta drive home on Tuesday. And my right rear wheel is squealing like a little piggy. My guess is that wheel bearing is shot. I'll pick up a rebuild kit for the rear as soon as I can and replace all the bearings. Got some pretty good shots of Doug, but missed an awesome one when his front driver was 3 feet off the ground and it threw his passenger rear into the bank. He's got a couple scratches as proof though. ;)

I'll get the pictures up later, we took a few, but ditto Will on the ladies. Lots of nice trucks, wish I had stayed, but I was whipped from laying sod til 2am. Can't wait to go back..... with new rear corner plates!

I MAY go back tonight, but I doubt it. I've got a 6 page paper to write by Monday and a final on Tuesday, and I've still gotta pack everything so I can be out of my room by Tuesday. That's what I've been doing since I left. T
