Linda and I will go again for sure, Thursday-Monday this time. She says the kids are not going this year. :o
We wait and book at the Jeep beach motel. it is the place to be.
They are still waiting on the deal to be arranged, but I know which ones they are nrgotiating with, and they are much better than last years DUMP.

Airport is right beside the track, I have a 4 door, and my nephew runs Air Traffic Control in Daytona. ;D
We are planning to leave Wed. evening and head down. And start back late Sunday. When will they have the details on the motel? I would like to stay where I know some people. That is if it isn't $200.00 per night. {ehm}
I guess I will go ahead and start getting my jeep cleaned up. ;D
I'll post up as soon as the hotel is final. If I'm traveling, it may hit the web before I can share the info. it won't be $200. Last year was under $100 per night but it was a spring break smelly dump in many cases.

Has anyone made plans to go to JEEP BEACH 2011 in Daytona Beach Fla.
Daytona Beach Shores Resort as the host hotel of Jeep Beach 2011.
Promo code JEEPSH and you will get a discount on rooms if anyone is going, It's from May 11 - 15.
KOA has 2 locations and have a discount of stay one night and get next night free. There is a $50 pre-registration fee, after may 6th it's $60.

I extended my room to include Thursday and Sunday night. Starting to get psyched about it.

I will be there again this year. Registered as soon as they opened it up and booked my room for Thursday-Sunday a few days later.
There are 2 other families from my subdivision that will be rolling down later Thursday (I am off work, so I will leave out early) in JK's.
Last year was fun and this one should be better.
Seemed like it was so long away when they opened registration, now it seems like the time has flown by and I didn't get everything done to my Jeep that I wanted, oh well, can't wait.

I plan on being on leave starting thursday thru tues.. sat nite sometime the wife and kid will be there and we will be heading to Disney... not sure how that is going to play with 2 cars... but oh well... got a room right down the road from the main hotel.. cheaper too...

Yep we did too. The girls love this stuff.
Thursday night, after the Jeep dealer meet and greet, we're headed out with Rooster and a big group for oysters somewhere.
And now after all day Saturday at the speedway, there is a volunteer and attendee appreciation party by Larry and Cherie and Jeremy, which is Poison Spyder and Rock Krawler, and some others. Said to be a dance party. It will be crazy.

Some answers to questions out there...
1. We did negotiate a late check-out with the host hotel - you will need to let them know at check-in -it is a small fee of $15 to extend to 3 pm.
2. Your paypal receipt is your confirmation. We will be sending out an e-mail that provides reminders and some additional information to all that have registered.
3. Other hotels offering a discount if you mention Jeep Beach - Ramada Speedway (mainland); Emerald Shores (beachside - have heard rumors they are sold out - but worth a try) and Holiday Inn oceanfront (beachside and newly renovated).
4. If you wish to park as a group on Saturday, please arrive together. This is a small request to make parking easier and more efficient. The quicker we get everyone parked, the sooner we can open the gates. If you need a place to meet, you can let the greeter know at the entrance and she will direct you to a staging spot.
5. Please bring cash or check -- we have tried to get an ATM to no avail.

are hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Party (AKA Cheri's Dance Party) on Saturday night after Jeep Beach, to honor and thank the Mid-Florida Jeep Club and the hard work they and their members put in to organizing this great event! Everyone is welcome who is involved in Jeep Beach in some way--as an organizer, volunteer, participant, vendor, etc.
But you need your TOKENS for entry and for your first two drinks which are ON US! Visit the vendor booths of Poison Spyder Customs, RockKrawler Suspension, sPOD or Rigid Industries during the Jeep Beach event on Saturday to receive your free tokens (two per person, while supplies last!).
Location and exact time of the party are TBD but will be revealed when you pick up your tokens.

Shawn at International RV Park has been generous enough to allow parking for any trucks and trailers for
$1.00/day! Yes…the price is correct $1.00/day
for both tow rig/trailer. I know he is a distance away from the hotel, but the vehicles would be secure and participants could drop off the trailers prior to coming to the hotel.

Well that was a long 4 days....met alot of people....the last night was nice...just sitting back with a few friends and having a drink... nice way to wind down after a long day...the parade on the beach was cool....

We had a great time also, We only took about 50 or 60 pictures I will upload them later. Hotel was great, fellowship was great (even though my buddy ditched me {nln} Saturday night), food was great, hell it was all good. We hung out this morning and watched the Shuttle blast off, then to finish the great trip there was an Eagle flying around my trailer when we went to load up this morning. Drive home in the wind kind of sucked though.

It was great seeing you guys again....this time in my neck of the woods, rather, beach. Had a blast...good times! Have a safe drive home.
We had a great time also, We only took about 50 or 60 pictures I will upload them later. Hotel was great, fellowship was great (even though my buddy ditched me {nln} Saturday night), food was great, hell it was all good. We hung out this morning and watched the Shuttle blast off, then to finish the great trip there was an Eagle flying around my trailer when we went to load up this morning. Drive home in the wind kind of sucked though.
Ayyyyyyy, we pulled over and asked you and Donna to get in.... ;D

Had another fantastic time. Thanks to all that made it happen. It's going to take some time to clear the cob webs from this trip.

You better. It's incredible. Save your money and do it right though. Stay at the host hotel because most of the activities are there. Let room service spoil you and enjoy the weekend. Otherwise there is too much driving and you can't be a Jeep Beach Alcoholic.

But then you split people up. People that come in from other areas want the beach. The hotel this year was super and the rooms were only 99 per night. 2 or 3 people split that and it's nothing. Plenty of people still camp at the different camp grounds, but they have to drive in for everything.

Moab is mo-money. I'm gonna try to make Jeep Beach next year since May shouldn't be packed with graduations for my family next time around.

Moab is more money and that's a retarded question. It's like asking a parent to decide between two children. I'm keeping both of them. ;)
Both can be done on a budget. Moab has a fuel expense that is unavoidable, but Jeep beach requires lodging which is avoidable if you want to camp.

Never been to Jeep Beach, hope to next year. But if I was given a choice between that and Moab, hmmmmm. ::) Lets just say I'd be wheeling instead of sun bathing.

Heard they are already negotiating with this years hotel (lot better than last years) for next year and word we got from some of the staff was that they are looking at reserving the entire hotel just for Jeep Beach 2012.

I love Daytona and have many memories of there, growing up in central FL every Spring Break was spent at the beach. The good thing about Jeep Beach is that it is not that far away and you can just make a long weekend out of it.
MOAB on the other hand is half way around the world, something like 9 Billion miles or so. Hahaha... If you haven't done it yet then you should put it on your Bucket List. I plan on doing it again sometime in the future but I want to plan more sight seeing along the way.

I hope all you guys can attend in 2012. Here is the info that was just released:
Jeep Beach 2011 was a tremendous success! With your help, we have continued to grow the event BIGGER and BETTER than the year before.
We exceeded the goals that we set as a club and are very pleased to announce that
we had a record number of jeeps in attendance at Saturday’s main event at 1004 –
this includes participants, our club jeeps, vendor jeeps and VIP jeeps.
We had over 500 jeeps parading along the beach on Sunday morning – what a fantastic sight!
Both numbers represented an increase of more than 35% and 25% (respectively) from last year.
We also had an increase in participation for the Wednesday – Friday events. We added a few items to this year’s schedule and hope you found them worth your time. The participation in our First Annual Poker Run was amazing. The concert at Daytona Dodge got off to a rocky start, but in the end, we all had a great time.
The Mid Florida Jeep Club wanted to thank you for attending and helping make this year’s Jeep Beach so much fun. Our club enjoyed seeing all the smiling, happy faces visiting vendors, driving the obstacles courses, parading down the beach and swimming at the pool party. It was a great payback for us!
Another great payback was being able to donate to our two charities. With your help at the raffles, we were able to donate $6,000 to The Blue Ribbon Coalition and $7,000 to The Boys and Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler counties. In addition, we had two vendors sell Jeep Beach commemorative items at the event – Poison Spyder Jeep Beach Shirts and Spiderweb Special Edition Shades. From these sales, almost $1,000 more was donated to The Blue Ribbon Coalition! This is probably our greatest part of the event – to give back to our community and those that support our trails!
We would also like to extend a HUGE thanks to our wonderful vendor partners. Without their help and support, this great event would not be possible. Please keep these vendors in mind whenever you need that next Jeep part. Their logos are listed on www.jeepbeach.com.
We would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU to the great individuals of the Southern Sands Jeep Club, Matanzas Jeep Club and The Jacked Up Jeep Club for their help this year at the event. You all were awesome and your dedication to seeing the event through was very much appreciated. Thanks to Larry and Jake for helping to make this work. We look forward to future partnerships!
