That black CJ5 is the one I fly up to PA to buy for a "client" and drove back to GA. It was a LONG ride!!! But fun. At the time, there were no doors and only a bikini top.

1986 CJ7, all stock with 33" tires... $2500. Last time I saw it it seemed to be in good shape. He is always open to trades if I know him well enough. Its got the stock straight 6 engine in it though.

Doug there are some decent deals out there on 11s. I wouldn't buy a 12 first model with new engine and trans. Also read the rubi will have 3.73s and 4.10s will be special order. They say with the new trans 3.73 are like 4.10s.

I paid $24,432.00 for my 08' with sticker of $34,432 with both tops, pwr windows/locks, tow package, and more. Can't touch that deal now. Might even buy an old Jeep:

Yep. I bought and sold 8 stock jeeps since 07'
no regrets here. Had fun. Moab in the JK was heaven.
Since Tellico closed, I have not enjoyed the JK like I thought I would.

A 2.5, on 60's with chromo's, you could hit everything with your foot to the floor and not worry about breakage. We all know how hard Gus A Gus hits stuff with his 44's.

LJ Rubi... going for the rare find? Only made 2 years I believe. I love my LJ but it is also my DD. If I was just looking for a Jeep to trail ride with you can find some much cheaper options that can be built for less than the price of a good shape LJ Rubi.

LJ Rubi was 2005-2006 only.

Yep, if I was looking to be a trail beast, there are some excellent choices available right now.
Still looking at LJ and JK's. Rubi preferred. Will only do small mods or buy with small mods.

There was a stock LJ Rubi at Parkway Mitsubishi in LaGrange the last time I was home a month or so ago. Might wanna check em out cause they do a lot of nice used cars and always have 4 or 5 Jeeps there.

Drove a 2012 with the Pentastar and 5 speed auto today. I was absolutely amazed. Unbelievable difference, and this Sahara had the 3.21 gears.
The new 5 speed auto trans with lock up has a lower 1st gear and the 4.10's are like 4.88's so upgrade to 35's or 37's is easy without regearing.
