Ok guys, Crawfords is holding a SFWDA fundraiser for Tellico trails. Here is the official head count thread. Please post here when you are coming etc. SOONER THE BETTER! I will email Danny to reserve some spots at the campground. Sooner the better.

{salute} I'll be there!!! Only have enuff funds to stay 1 night! Is everyone staying on Fri night or Sat night?? I'd like to meet a few people and talk some trail trash!! (sure beats going to Rock City with the wife and a bunch of girl scouts!)

Is anyone else going. This might be a pretty big turnout. It takes me about 2-1/2 hours to get there. The pay station on the NC side is probably a good place. Unless we have some guys camping or staying. There was a lot of discussion on this before. I am not quite sure why no one is hitting tellico before it closes. My wife will probably not get an early start. So probably be around 10 for me. I will be on channel 7.

Ben if for some reason i go it will have to be sat and if that is the case could you make it somewhere for me to pick you up and you can ride with me... i need a good camera jockie..but right now that is only a maybe cause i might have to work Sat.

Mike, hammer out some details! I can only go for the day though. If you can get me some details pretty quick I can probably clear it with the mrs. Let me know! Sounds like the entire thing is going to be called off though from what I see on pirate. Maybe we should get another date together?

This has been canceled due to lack of interest. Danny said the ones committed backed out this weekend and no one else has shown interest in doing so. I'm still riding so if anyone wants to meet up we can. I'll be on the NC side at 9 or 9:30am Saturday.

Doug plans on riding as well. If Mike comes through we can all hook up. Mike, you have a winch? What would you want to do Matt? Bus is out I think for you. It has gotten real bad and without 2 lockers and more clearance you would be swallowed in 2 spots I can think of. Plus no winch. But you know I like all the big stuff. Everything else is just boring.

Ill try whatever. I do have one locker and some tow points. Mark made it up in the CJ last time. ;) If its dry I might have a chance. But I am not beyond pulling some cable.

Fine by me. I am just gonna tell ya that we will have a heck of a time gettin up that trail! It can be done though. Just need a winch.

I dont want to hold anybody back, but I would like to take a look at it, maybe the last opportunity. If there are lots of people on the trail I will go up 3 & 11 again. I will be the little guy as usual. ::)

Little guys have more fun! We can hit 6 to 4 to guardrail. Matt, I think if you walked up to the first turn on the bus you would crap a brick! It has gotten crazy fun!

{popcorn} Sounds GREAT!! I've done 3-4-5-6 several times, pulled over lower 2, but.... never actually been over the "rail" or bus. Just never been with the right group!! It's supposed to rain on Fri. could be a bit messy!!

Note our arrival times and we will be on ch.7! A good # of guys on pirate are gonna be there. That bad a old bronco will be up there again! I am stoked, even if I am not driving. :( :)

Well, I had a great time today. Very slippery up there.
Ray, it was nice to meet you. I hope you made it home fine. You didnt miss to much. We turned around shortly after, the guys on 42s were having trouble on the bus. That sucks about the driveshaft, hopefully you can get that fixed, easily.

Well guys....I had a fairly good time today. That was till that loud "clank-SNAP" sound!! I limped back to the house at about 25-30 mph. I didn't realize how hard driving with aussie locker in the front was- locking...pulling to the left, unlocking...pulling to the right. It made for quite a ride home! You know I feel quite embarrassed :-[ breaking on my first ride with you guys.... I normally wait till my second or third trip!! My Jeep really felt bad, it turned a different shade of red, her front bumper all hanging low, dragging her right reat tire. Oh well!! Sh*t happens!
Sure was some pretty scenery!! Hate everyone else had to miss it!!

Definitely look for some revenge. Most of us have either been there (breakage) or have dodged the bullet a few times. For me its not if I break its when I break. The bus was really nasty.
