I'm looking for something to conceal carry and do work in.

What I have now is a:
Cz p01 - 9mm
Hk USP - 45acp
Kimber 1911 - 45acp

The cz is kinda compact but I'm looking for something along the lines of that. I don't wanna that super compact where half your fingers are around it or a super short barrel that decreases accuracy becuase of muzzle flip.

What do yall like?

What caliber do you prefer?
What capacity?
Are you sitting or standing most of the day?

The main thing if you're carrying every day, all day, it needs to be comfortable.

Get a good holster for the CZ and try that out.

You can always go to a Commander (4") 1911 as well, but I'd get something other than a Kimber.  If you want capacity, there is always Glock.  The G19 is an excellent weapon.
Stand. Don't really need to a tuck shirt in.

I as far as caliber, if comes down to that point I want them stopped then and there. Not 5 rounds later. Of course that comes down to shot placement but I don't wanna use a 22 though either.

I had my G19 stippled when the finger grooves were removed.  The texture is a bit different from others I have seen.  It's worked well for me.  Wouldn't have done it if not already modifying the grip.

I carry an XDS .45 but am looking at the M@P shield and 9C in 9mm. Great concealed guns for sure.
I've grown tired of this.

"Stippling" is :

My personal opinion is its a great way to ruin a handgun.

Agree

you guys are smokin some shit. sorry, opinions are like ass holes, but stippling in no way whatsoever hurts a handgun's function, if anything it does exactly what it supposed to do and that is it helps with manipulation of the weapon when things are not perfect, e.g. , when hands are slick, sweaty, muddy, greasy, bla bla. Im not saying just go out and take a hot iron to a $1k HK, but dont knock it till ya try it. There is not one single person that has handled one of my polymer framed guns that has been stippled that didnt absolutely love it. Especially if you actually carry all day, every day, not when just riding around the mall parking lot in your minivan.. //SMOKEII//

Now I will say some look like they would serve the purpose better than others. IF, again, IF I were to seriously consider it, it would be something pretty moderate. I'm not looking to be holding something rough as asphalt in my hand.

I have an Alien Gear for the 43 that you can borrow and try out. Want me to send it to you?  I use the GearCraft now and the AG sits on a shelf. It's very comfortable but it has two belt clips, which make it very sturdy, but I found I prefer the single belt clip
