Title: Made a good dish last nite.
Post by: kent10sne1 on September 19, 2016, 02:02:52 PM
So the wife bought some beef tips on sale from wal-mart a few days ago, and we had to use them last nite.  she was not sure and left me incharge.

Called my mom and she had a great suggestion:

spray the pot with non-stick, dump all the meat in, cover with 2 cans (or 3 ) of "golden muchroom soup" she said i had to use the "golden" as it has much more flavor.   bake 350 for 40 min.   , made some green peas /frozen in the microwave. , made some rice.

pour beef tips/gravy over rice.    good eating.  the tips got really tender.  i did cutt some of them up to make them bite size.

not an uber green egg dish, but for a good stick to your ribs, sunday nite with gloomy weather. it was very good

ya, my mom said golden mushroom soup is a go-to for left overs or just stewing meat in.   :)  I'm not as into the cooking as most of the others, but figured I would share , I liked it.
