For those intrested there is a group from ExPo camping at Amicalola on 1/31-2/1. So far it is a group of about 20-25. Check out http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22338 (http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22338) for more info.

I might come up for the day and ride around with y'all but no camping. Bill, hilldweller, is a member here as well and I have been up that way with him before

How are these trails.

How are these trails.
Mostly like gravel roads.
-
There are plenty of spider trails to explore on. ;)
-
could you suggest some good trail around theier that are worth hitting with some semi lifted jeep and semi lifted dodge ram?
-
The trails around Amicalola have a few washed out and rocky roads but nothing crazy. I did it all in the Rubicon stock with no use of my lockers. Make sure those spider trails are old roads not 4x4 illegal roads that end up closed with some of the legal roads due to "erosion"

I know them by site. Could not really tell you where they are without drawing a map. Most are dead ends and such. Others need clearing. I had to turn around with Doug last time. Got real tight!! Hawk mtn has a nice little rocky section on top. ;)

Hey, it was great running into you guys on Old Bucktown! Thanks for turning around and stopping to say hello at the plane crash.
We had a heck of a weekend; the weather really got good. We're thinking of making this an annual "event" for kicking tires, easy wheeling, and seeing exotic rigs:

Yes. Hand throttle, crawl speed of less than 1 mph. You can walk along side it while it's crawling and steer from outside.
Virtually unstoppable machine.

What a nice variety of machinery.
