Anyone have a stock steering stabilizer for a JK laying around?
I have a bilstein one but it pulls hard to one side. I found out that I would need to run dual stabilizers to make it work but I don't want to run duals so just looking for an OEM one.
Ill be at the cove ride or I'm willing to meet anywhere.
Thanks!

I believe I have a stock one. You can have. I'm in East Atlanta you can swing by and pick it up.

When I needed a replacement, Fortec 4x4 near Roswell had a ton of stock ones they would throw out

Have you tried to run without it? I don't use one on my Jeep. Might not even need it depending on how it feels and handles. Just a suggestion.

I drove with out one for 2 weeks. I didn't like it. You can do it, but it comes with another set of problems.

Mine drives great but totally different setup.

I have the Fox and it "pushes" the steering left. I'm used to it now and it isn't that bad.

We tried the Fox on mine and ran into the same issues of pushing left . The BDS is supposed to be nearly identical to the OEM valving. Stock is fine for me.

I haven't run one for close to two years now.

You don't need dual stabilizer. That's a band aid for an underlying issue.

Yup. exactly why I don't want the duals

I'm running without one now but when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right I get some serious rubbing. Figured it was because of no stabilizer. Got JRays old Fox one but for some reason it wouldn't fit, just need to figure out why. Something about it being too long...lol

Stabilizer would not cause rubbing. Thats something with your wheel/tire/lift combination.
Ok thanks. Maybe I need spacers then.

Whats the backspacing on your wheels? I had rubbing issues as well, added spacers, fixed that issue created different problems, I hate spacers. I still run them though.

Why do you hate spacers?

Wider stance, wear and tear. Better off road, less mpg's on the road.
It was a DD, now it sits in the carport and comes out on weekends. It's a trade off.
