does the receiver maintain the same tow capacity as factory?

Good question. I will look on their webpage and see what they say. I would say it’s stronger because how the bumper is built

It doesn’t list the hitch info on their page.

Just got this same one a couple months back. It is freakin solid!!! Tow capacity should be the same as stock hitch. Mounting points are the same..... should be able to tow your trailer if that's the concern.

Hitches in bumpers are not considered "Rated" typically due to their being welded, and the additional stress on the part. They are meant to be used for bike racks.
I asked VKS in regards of their rear bumper and that is what they stated.

I have a smittybilt rear bumper and tire carrier and I have towed a 4000lb boat behind short distances. Wouldn't want to tow that weight far on the jeep but it could do it. I think all companies with bumpers with hitches will tell you that they aren't meant for heavy towing mostly due to liabilities.
