Thank you for the help and complement. Hoping to pass it onto someone who will enjoy it as much we did.

What an awesome rig. I noticed in the specs list that the front had 5.38 gears and the rear has 5.40. is there just no issue if the ratio is that close? Or is that just how it is labeled as?
-
Sorry if I missed it, what have you done witht the gas tank? Is it stock, relocated, protected?

You can see on one of the last pictures on the pics link that the tank is located in the rear behind the rear axle with a big skid plate. Guessing the filler neck is inside somewhere?

There is no issue with the 5.38 and 5.40 being that they are so close together. The guys at TrueHI9 developed the MEGA Hi9 to have the strongest possible gear set and it's cut 2 times as deep as stock HP 5.38. They had to use a 5.40 ratio to get the cut and contact strength they wanted.

It has a Genright Stretch COMP aluminum gas tank with Genright skid. The filler nozzle is behind the fender.

Has heat. I pulled the A/C compressor off a while back but I still have it. Could easily bolt it back in, connect the lines and charge. Then it should be good to go.

well damn. that's my dream jeep there. don't think a bank will finance me something that old though unfortunately.
