When the shocks are too long the spring falls out. That can happen sober, so doesn't have too much to do with the drink.

Yeah. Today was a first for loosing the spring. Been on a to of rides with this set up and never lost it. Just started today so not sure whats goin on with it. Had a rough day today. Danny and I did hells revenge. I busted the driver mirror on the pillar and dented it a good bit more. Larry broke his driver knuckle on tee pee trail and it took 3 hours to get him out. 300 yards in 3 hours... Thanks to Dannys AWESOME wife for the chicken dinner!! Great ride. Thanks to all who helped spot, pull cable and offer advice. Dinner was awesome Danny, send our thanks.
Not much carnage for me. Blew a rear shock (cheap ProComp shocks), brushed a tree with the windshield and now the passenger door whistles while driving and did some work on the belly pan and might have bent my oil skid.

sounds like a mighty fine good time. Would have liked to made it but still have repairs to make from Gulches. Glad for all who made it (cept for the carnage!)

Just got done cleaning up and finally sat down. Looks like I can add a lower shock mount to the carnage list. It's pushed up and buckled about an inch or a bit mor. Guess my buggy style driving days are over ;) it's the same side that I am loosing the spring so got some work ahead of me. Also bent my lower control arm mount on the driver side. I can beat it back to straight. This hobby is getting expensive!

Minor damage for such hardcore trails!! ;D Out of 11 Rigs the worst damage was Larry's knuckle for sure!! Rock rash for everyone else. Hell's Revenge kept trying to eat Ben's coil!!

Man, those vids do NO just to that trail! It was a great trail. Danny spit out that rock and it stopped on the tree right in front of the jeep. If not for the tree, it would have demolished my front end! The other rock we kicked out when I went up rolled down a good 150 yards or more. That boulder had some speed! I am uploading my vids and picks now. {letseat}

The only carnage I have found so far was popped a hole in my aluminum can gas tank skid that the JK's have. It happened last night on The Ledges

I believe it is steel, and about the thickness of 2 sheets of aluminum foil lol.. It will now rust like hell.

That was an awesome recovery!! If the tire would have fell completely off we would have been screwed. Hope you make it out to Beasley next month {cheers2}

I was asleep by 9 last night. Don't think I moved once! I could have slept all day I think. Now to get on fixing the jeep. Got a short list to get taken care of before Harlan gets here! Had a great trip either way.
