Kevin, is that the stock tie rod?  I thought you had the ZJ one on there?  I am looking to upgrade my steering soon but cannot decide which way to go with it.

My driver and pass pillar are dented. If you wheel in the south, it is bound to happen. Tie rods, i bought a rugged ridge one off ebay a few years back for under 80. Was beefy! Now i am otk high steer so have a solid piece up out of the way. Go that route!

Will try to do it today. Do a search for TNT high steer track bar setup. Can't remember the name of the company that did the knuckle mounts.

Kev I got the stocker if you need 1. I have a rough country and it has been great.

That was the ZJ tie rod upgrade. Had life time warranty so
I bought another then returned the U shaped one and got
my money back.

The pillar was from crawling up some rocks with some
trees on the right side of trail. Spotter was on my left. I kept
sliding toward the tree. I would back and try again. Finally I
started up but kicked right. I thought it was going to bust my
side mirror then I seen it just get pushed in so I thought cool
just moved my mirror is all........well got out to fix mirror and
saw that damage.

Ben has a waggy 44 up front.

If your running the D30 you should just get the flip insert for the drivers side tie rod and relocate the sway bar link brackets.

Never thought about carry a spare but now I wonder???
May take you up on that spare. If I was up at Atena that
would make a huge difference!

I stopped carrying it sometime ago. If I bend the current tie rod bad enough to not drive it then I will have broke a few things as well

I always had spares, fits nicely against the back of the tube and virtually takes up no space. Seems like I have given about 3 out now. Even sold a Rugged Ridge HD tie rod to a guy in need at Jeepfest.
